Stroud & District Historical Society
VOLUNTEERING
GET INVOLVED IN LOCAL HISTORY
Stroud & District Historical Society Association Inc. is run solely by volunteers, and was formed in 1970.
What we do
As volunteers we care for and open our two museums in Stroud on Sundays to the public:
-
The Court House
-
Quambi
We also conduct guided historical tours of Stroud to groups and provide a genealogy service of pioneer families and their descendents of the area.
We provide an 'oral' history recording service to record the lives and history of the local people and community.
Monthly meetings
The Society meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at the Court House in Cowper Street, Stroud NSW at 6.30pm. Come along for a chat and a cuppa!
Membership fees
Annual fees:
-
$15.00 per year for singles
-
$20.00 per year for families
