"The Cromartys of Port Stephens" .  A well researched part true, part imaginative second novel by Author Leslie Kilmartin - 3 x great grandson of William and Cecelia (Sissy) Cromarty- told through the voice of Elizabeth, their eldest daughter.  William and Sissy are said to be the first free settlers in the Port Stephens area - their home at Soldiers Point, named "Ronaldsha" after the Orkney island where they were born in the late eightennth century before embarking on an incredible life journey.  Tough, tragic, brave but resourceful.
